TEXTING WHILE DRIVING!

We have all seen someone driving down the road weaving back and forth. Looks like they might be drunk, but then when you pull up next to them to pass them you see that they are probably not drunk but just as impaired. They are texting.
According to recent studies done by local universities, they have found the driving while talking on the phone can be as distracting as drunken driving and that texting while driving can be twice as dangerous.
One study that was done shows that 75 percent of the students in the study had texted while driving. One in five admitted to regularly texting while driving. That means that 20% of those students are driving and are twice as impaired as a drunk driver. SCARY!
I was hit about two years ago by someone who was texting. I was slowing down for some very rough railroad tracks when wham I was rearended. I got out and she had the phone in hand and admitted that she was texting and didn’t see me slow down. And yes her insurance company paid to fix my car and rent me a car for a week while it was repaired.
What should we do. Do you call the police? Honk at them?
My advise is get away from them as quickly and safely as possible.
